Greg's cousin Scott was married on December 30th to his gal Jenny.
A few days before the big event they found out their photography package
from their photographer did not include reception coverage.
Scott asked if I could cover the reception
and of course I said yes.
But I was terrified! TERRIFIED!
I have never done anything like this before,
so I got a big flash and prayed for the best.
These were my favorite shots from the night.
I had never shot in these lighting situations,
but I am happy with using a flash for the first time and what I had to experiment with.
Hopefully Scott and Jenny like them too.
And have I mentioned my husband is amazing?
He helped me out so much,
I love you Greg.

They turned out great!! I didn't even hear that Scott got married I remember you telling me he was engaged but I didn't know when the big day was. Tell him Congrats for me next time you see him!!
P.S. Kara I don't think you have to worry about doing a good job on pics because I don't think I have seen anything you have done that doesn't look good!
They turned out great! Faves are the shoes on the piano & them on the row of chairs! I have a feeling this is the first reception of many!
