New things are happening around here.

Oh how the simple things like Lydia's hair make me so happy.

And I have a new blog/website!

Having two different blogs I needed to keep updated and wanted

to keep updated was proving a bit too much time.

I am moving into one blog to simplify my life

so I won't be such a crazy wife and mother when life gets busy.

I am going to show on this blog when the new one is update

for a couple of months so everyone has time to see I have moved.

Trent and Rachel were married on a warm

beautiful day for February.

It was so easy to see how

happy these two were to be married.

And they also were so easy going

because they were just happy to be together!

That makes it very simple for me to capture that love

they have for each other in a picture.

My handsome nephew turned one in January.

We had quite the adventure when taking these photos

that involved my sis-in-law's purse being stolen!

But she recovered most of her belongings in her purse

in the end, thank goodness.

But back to Talan,

isn't he simply adorable?

I just love his brown eyes in black and white

so that's what you will see of him today.

I can honestly say Heather and Eric are one of the

most sincere and kind couples I know.

Heather and I attended Weber State together (Go Wildcats! Ha.)

and had an internship together.

She totally made my last couple of semesters so much fun and liveable!

Heather and Eric are choosing adoption through LDS family services

to bring children into their family.

If you have any information for them regarding

prospects of adoption or just want to know more about them

Aren't Heather's blue eyes unreal?!

I can't wait to meet the lucky children who get blessed to

have this amazing couple as parents.

Anyone who knows the Grahams know

they are in for a good time when they all get together.

And guess which son-in-law is related to me?

I have only taken pictures of his family and kids

a dozen times so it might be hard to guess people.

My nephew Tayden turned one in November.

He had a rockin' 1st birthday party (way to go sister Kristen)!

He also has auburn curly hair that is very cute.

The weather threatened to cancel our photo session,

Adam and Brooke have the most beautiful children!

Sweet little Lucy is the chubbiest newborn girl I had ever seen.

Loved her rolls of chub.

Jake and Mia are Lucy's big brother and sister.

Proud big brother Jake.

Unfortunately, Mia passed away unexpectedly last year.

The pink giraffe with Lucy was one of Mia's stuffed animals.

You can definitely sense the beautiful spirit of Mia

with this family while just spending time in their home.

Beautiful Cadence was seven weeks old when we shot these photos.

She was such a sweet baby and slept for us!

I was amazed a seven week old would do that for us.

And she has gorgeous dark brown hair with red highlights in it.

I had to chase scary geese away from us

a couple of times, but other than that,

The Cranneys grew up just one house away from me.

Growing up, my family all had best friends in this family.

And these Cranneys are always good for a laugh.

This morning was absolutely freezing.

My hands killed while thawing out in the car they were so cold.

And I was in a huge coat and layers the whole time!

Sweet baby boy Caden is just barely three months old.

It was so nice to spend time with

a little one who wasn't running all crazy like.

I love the days of babies where they are just stuck

I love this little family's story.

C and J tried for years to have children,

then they were finally blessed with these cute twin boys!

When the boys were only 2 1/2 months old

they found out they were pregnant again!

A little girl will welcome their family the end of this winter.

but I am sure C and J wouldn't trade it for anything.

We really lucked out this rainy morning.

There were dark clouds threatening us all morning long,

and the minute we decided to get one last shot in it started pouring rain.

There were a lot of photographers and people

running for shelter all over the place.

I was so happy that we didn't have to worry about anyone

being soaked for pictures because we were done!

We did this photo session on the coldest evening yet

this season!

The Rindys were such good sports and never complained about the cold.

You would never guess it was freezing either the way the pictures turned out.

And their little Brynlee just turned 3.

I can't believe it. Time really does go by too fast when

your friends children grow up right before your eyes.

I have never even thought about becoming a wedding photographer

so I never thought anyone would ask me to photograph their entire wedding!

But J asked me and I just couldn't say no.

I had so much fun at Wadley Farm with B and J on their wedding day.

It was a gorgeous October day

and their family was so welcoming to me.

B and J's happiness was evident just being around them.

And I am so sorry to whoever it was who was

interested in me covering their wedding in the summer

and me saying no.

Usually I am an animal lover,

but on photo sessions animals hate me lately!

First it was the dog incident a couple of weeks ago

and at this session with the Tripps,

I swear the baby cow was going to ram me if the fence wasn't in between us

and this rooster kept following me and then starting flapping it's wings really wildly!

What's the deal animals?

I'm practically a vegetarian.

You should love me.

But who cares that animals hate me when

I get to photography another gorgeous family?

Zurie was an angel baby. No joke guys.

No fussing or anything!

Just happy to be there and smile for us.

I love these Tuckers.

Liam and Tate are the cutest boys.

I even kissed that Liam on the cheek because he is that cute.

Taiya is only one day younger than my Lydia.

It was so fun being around her and seeing the similarities between the two girls.

They also have a few differences, like those few pounds that Taiya has on Lydia! Ha.

Oh and look at Taiya's incredible blue eyes! Love them.

The Thompson family are so darn photogenic too.

Made my job easy!

And here is a funny-too-much-info-story for you all who care.
While walking up to the owner's home of the orchard before the Thompsons got there
a dog came charging out at me from under the porch
while barking like crazy!
I turned around being scared and it nipped me on the butt!
While walking, very fast, away from that scary dog I noticed my butt hurt BAD!
Sure enough that very next day I had a big old bruise on my bum.
Greg is my witness that he saw that black and blue coloring on my rear end.
Good story right?!

Brady and Sammi were married over one year ago,

but they weren't able to get any pictures

of her side of the family with the photographer at the wedding.

So they all got dressed up for a second time to get some family pictures

before they moved to California.

Brady and Sammi let me pose them for a bit

after wards for some more "romantic" shots.

I think everyone should do this for their year anniversary!

It sure looked like a lot of fun to get dressed back up

and pretend it was my wedding day again!

After a year of marriage, they still got it.

The Butterfield family and I enjoyed a very warm summer night

at Wheeler Farm.

And so did about 20 other photographers and families there.

It was quite funny. Every where I looked

there was someone else with a big camera!

But that just means we chose a great night to take some family pictures.

Get your newborn baby boy fix now!

Blake was such a chill baby.

He was wide awake at the beginning of the session

and then went right to sleep for us without a fight.

Get this, he didn't even go potty or you know what on any of the blankets!

Nothing short of a miracle when dealing with newborns.
